Adirondack Mountain Hiking

Adirondack Mountain Hiking - The Adirondack Park is made up of a mix of private and public lands. It is different from any other park in the United States. This region (in northern New York State) contains 3,000 ponds and lakes, and more than 2,000 miles of Adirondack park hiking trails within the park boundaries.
The wonder of a hiking vacation in the Adirondacks is that in the course of a single day, you can hike to places that offer backwoods solitude and views of magnificent forest, lakes, ponds, and mountains. Then by the evening, you can be dining in a fine restaurant, later only to be tucked into a warm comfortable bed.Hiking trails in the Adirondacks offer a wide range of accessible and breathtaking hikes. You can enjoy strolls to tranquil waterfalls, quiet ponds or babbling brooks. Hikes vary from short, flat and easy, to steep and demanding thus offering trails for all experience and endurance levels.
If you have kids (like us) hiking in the Adirondacks can be a fun and unforgettable day trip. Hiking in the Adirondack Park will provide memories to last a lifetime!
