Adirondack Golf

Adirondack Golfing is one of the favorite activities in the Adirondack Mountains. It is unique and has its advantages over other well-known golf locations in the USA.

For well more than 100 years, golfers have arrived by stage coach, train, boat, bus, car, etc., to unwind and enjoy golfing within the Adirondack Park boundary.

The views in the Adirondack Park are splendid and the environment is unspoiled which greatly enhances your golfing experience. It makes for some memorable Adirondack Mountain photographs too. ....Nature at its best!

Golf courses in the Adirondack Mountains range from simple/inexpensive par 3s, to resorts courses that are well-known, splendid and demanding.

Other advantages of Adirondack golfing include dependable tee times, play is usually fast, and you can definitely get more for your money than other famous spots in the United States.

The greens are normally well manicured and the fairways freshly cut. And certainly trees are abundant which supply sufficient shade for those hot summer days in July and August.

As with other adventures on our web site, there are just too many golf courses in the Adirondack Mountains to list the all. So for now we’ll concentrate on those Adirondack golf courses in and around the Chestertown (Loon Lake), North Creek, Schroon Lake, Brant Lake, Warrensburg, and Lake George area (… just a short drive from our vacation home at Loon Lake).

Experience some great Adirondack golf at one of the golf courses listed below. They offer yet another outdoor recreation activity that adds to your Adirondacks Mountain vacation.

Some (…. like Cronin's Golf Resort, my personal favorite), can serve as an “overnight summer camp” with Adirondack Mountains cottage or cabin rentals available. This is great for one of those romantic Adirondack getaways, a reunion with friends, or just the guys (…. or womens outdoor adventures too!).
