Trappers Tavern
Trappers Tavern is another great place to eat in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. The pub is located at the Copperfield Inn, North Creek, NY. The Copperfield Inn is a resort/hotel best known for catering to the Gore Mountain (...just minutes away!) ski crowd but is open for business year round. The Copperfield Inn actually has two restaurants, Lorenzo's, and Trappers. We haven’t eaten at Lorenzo's (… as of yet) which is more of a fine dining establishment. We have been to Trappers pub many times and it is one our favorite spots.
Trappers is a small quaint pub with a great Adirondack Atmosphere.
The menu is loaded with delicious appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees. They all have fun Adirondack type names like: “Prospector's Choice”, “The Gauntlet”, “Birch Bark Chili”, “The Burnt Ridge Salad”, “The Smokin' Ugly Horse”, “Free Trappers Stew”, “The Most Impertinent Chipmunk”, and many more!
It’s a fun time. If you are in the North Creek area of the Adirondack Park (... any time of the year) you should try it!

The portions generous and the service is friendly. Our favorite time to go is in the winter, whether it is to eat a relaxing dinner after being out in the snow all day, to sit by the fire with a cocktail, or enjoy the entertainment they provide. (… usually small local bands or solo musicians).
