After vacationing in the Adirondack Mountains for many years we decided to check out an Adirondack real estate guide (… and possibly buy property!).

There were many Adirondack homes for sale on or near lakes but the prices were out of site! ( … especially Adirondack lakefront cabins). So we finally decided to buy land with beach and dock rights to Loon Lake, located between Pottersville and Chestertown.

A couple of years later we built this beautiful Adirondack chalet. Owning an Adirondack Mountain vacation home enabled us to not only enjoy our annual vacation in the Adirondack Park, but also to just pack up for a spur of moment weekend get-away.

We decided to rent the chalet occasionally (… when we weren’t using it that is) to help pay the bills.

The people who have rented our cottage have been great and very respectful of our beautiful home (… most people leave it as immaculate as they when they arrived).
