Adirondack Mountains! That’s right, we’re loony about the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York, USA!
My wife and I fell in love with the area on our first vacation here in the early 1980’s, and in particular the Loon/Schroon Lake area, so much so that we decided to build a vacation home here.
Our goal with this site is to share with you the beauty, adventures, and activities of the Adirondacks, in particular the Loon Lake, Schroon Lake, Friends Lake, Brant Lake and Lake George area.
Because we have a vacation home here (which we rent from time to time to make ends meet by the way!), we know that we can provide the best (inside) information on places to see, things to do, accommodations, and where to find the products & services you most want and need.
So... if you are planning a vacation to the area, or considering owning your own home here, we’ll do our best to show you our favorite things to see and do in the area and within a one hour drive from our vacation home at Loon Lake in Chestertown N.Y.
